Anything Goes!!

It is time to take off that apron,
put away the receipts...
and make a little something for Pretty Cute Stamps':

Regardless the time of year,
I always have baked goods flowing from my ovens.
I created this tag to add to a plate of Cinnamon rolls..or cookies...who knows...
in the upcoming weeks!

Once again, as I mentioned on Monday, I used the Gingerbread House set.

Double Dipping

Hello fans!
Today I am double dipping into the Gingerbread jar...
as I use the Gingerbread set

and amazing brads, washi tape, and bling from the Eyelet Outlet to inspire you!

First up...
Christmas...

Admittedly, I am terrible at sending our Christmas cards. I send all sorts of cards...
but December is so craycray, than I just don't get around to doing it.
But...this Gingerbread house is so sweet! It is definitely getting popped into the mail today!
Don't you love the candy colors?
Your holiday card will pop among the red/green and blue/white cards on someone's mantle when you use a candy colored color combo!

Eyelet Outlet Supplies:

3 Girl JAM ribbon:

Pop Up Relief Glue Dots  (R) gives a bit of dimension to my gingerbread house!

Next...
New Year's Resolutions...

If you are saying good bye to gummies and hello to the gym...
here is one last hurrah to get you motivated..
or at least smiling!

Eyelet Outlet Supplies:

I'm sure you are now inspired to be all goody-goody on your new year's diet!
But, come back on Saturday.
I have one more design using Gingerbread House for next month's PCS challenge!
It is so sweet that you won't want to miss it!

Thanks for stopping by during this busy holiday season.
I hope your "to do" list is getting checked off...
no stress...
lots of love and smiles!

Merry Christmas!!

Celebrate Christmas with ribbons and bows on your cards!
(And plenty of hardware and bling too.)

Here I used Clover crinkle ribbon from the Sunny Meadows Collection.
This is my favorite, go-to green color!
The bigger the better when it comes to bows in December!

Bedazzle your Bell Brad  from the Eyelet Outlet with a little bit of Bling Strips.
I love how each package has silver and gold bells.

To create this background, I alternated 1/8 inch red/green trim with Pearl Strips.
This thin ribbon is in the 3 Girl JAM Holiday Collection with silver and gold cord.
I love how rich and festive this looks!
Even the sentiment is set off with a Holly brad from the Eyelet Outlet.

I hope you are all well on your way to getting everything tied up for Christmas.
Enjoy your families, friends, food feasts...and of course...
cord, ribbons, and lace from 3 Girl JAM this month!

Who is baking??

I should be...
but instead, I have baked up this tasty card featuring Red Crinkle Ribbon from

I love the flirty, fresh look of these ribbons!
And even better, in my cleaning/organizing last week, I found this piece of red that had been mixed up in a different storage bin. Score!  And if you want a tip for keeping those ribbons secure, be sure to use a Permanent Glue Dot ®!

The pearls and enamel heart can be found at the Eyelet Outlet.
The have great embellishments for any project!

Now, I"m off for one last trip to the store for fresh fruits and veggies...
and then, the count down till 27 family members arrive starts!
So much to do, so little time to do it.
Be sure to take a 5 minute breather and check out the 3 Girl JAM blog for more inspiration!

Thankful for Fans!!

Welcome to my stop on the "Thankful for 3 Girl JAM Fans Blog Hop!"  The 3 Girl JAM design team has joined up with a few of our friends and fans to put together an awesome hop full of inspiration and fun!  (You should have come here from Rhonda's blog. START HERE to enjoy the full hop.)

3 Girl JAM has put together an awesome prize package of crafty goodness!  To win it, all you have to do is leave a comment on each stop of the hop.  Easy peezy!

Here is a clever way to give a gift card using a standard A2 envelope.

  Fold it in half.
Crease the edge.
Cut a slice out of the right flap.
Lick the left side shut.
Add a Removable Glue Dot® on the right side.
Slide in your gift card.

Decorate and embellish as you wish!
I used bling, enamel dots, and brads from the Eyelet Outlet to decorate the holiday tree.
Prop up the front panel using Pop Up Relief Glue Dots ®
Use a length of 3 Girl JAM white crinkle ribbon to tie it shut.
Simply slide it under the top panel.

Today also starts the next challenge with Pretty Cute Stamps.
For this project, I used the set "Oh, Christmas Tree" and "Dear Santa."
This is a great way to gift away a gift card!
(Though now I think I should have used the "Naughty or Nice?" sentiment on the inside. heheh)
Link up your gift giving ideas using Pretty Cute Stamps

on the PCS company blog by December 12th.  That way, I have 12 more days to use your ideas!

Hip in Denim

Schools acros the nation are starting up.
Here in Michigan,
school resumes the day after Labor Day!
Here's a snazzy pick me up...
regardless if it the first day of school or the 14th day of school.
Treat the teenager in your life with a pocket of fun!

First, find an old pair of jeans and cut out one of the back pockets.
Trim up the edges. If you want to keep the edges neat, apply some fray check.

Create a crinkle bow using your teen's favorite color.
I added a courderoy brad to embellish the center.
Craft Glue Dots ® were used to adhere this embellishment to the pocket.

Next, fill up the pocket with fun school supplies, gum, and candies that your teen enjoys.
You might even tuck an encouraging note!

Here I used the white striped crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM "Red, White, & Blue Bundle."

Thanks for taking a reading break and checking out my blog today.

Back to School blog hop featuring 3 Girl JAM & SVG Attic...

Welcome to the SVG Attic-3 Girl JAM Back to School blog hop!  We are so excited to have you join us today!

At each stop of the hop we hope you will be inspired by the creativity of the design teams of SVG Attic and 3 Girl JAM. You are sure to find many wonderful projects that will be at the top of your crafting lists!

You should be arriving from Marji's aMazing blog. If you happened across this post out of order, please head to the SVG Attic blog to start at the beginning of the hop.

Here is the project I created:

I decided that I would turn a non-school/fall set from SVG Attic into a school set.
When I saw the amazing Gone Fishing set, I knew I had it!
Here is my take on the tackle box, which I transfored into a colorful lunch box...

Which holds...

Twelve colorful lunch notes!!

I used several different crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM for this project.
The main lunch box has Clover from Sunny Meadows collection. (I love that collection!)
The note cards, which measure 3 x 4 inches when folded, have used
Basic Blue from the Red/White/Blue Collection
and Barn Door from the Rustic Country Collection.
(I think I"m out of the basic red...yelp!)

For half of the cards, I used the crayon file from Back to School Basics.
With so many items in this file, I will be sure to cut more images out as I need to replensh this box.
Although I was thinking about giving it to my SIL, but she is now home schooling her daughter...
I suppose that means I'll have to find another lucky, brown bagger for this amazing set!

The stamped images and sayings come from Pretty Cute Stamps: The Write Stuff
(along with small sentiments from other PCS sets).
I applyed the ink pad directly to my note card before stamping the image.
Don't you love this splash of color behind the black and white line drawing?

As I was cutting it out, I realized that it was not a hinged box...the way a lunch box would open.
(Though there are side hinges included to fit the tackle box look!)
Washi Tape to the rescue!
I added a strip of wide, red washi on both the inside and the back of the box,
before I added the colorful panels from DCWV Fiesta Forever paperstack.

I used Glue Lines by Glue Dots ® to construct this box.
Those Lines are amazing...just be sure to line up edges very carefully!
Pop Up Relief Glue Dots ®  are used to secure the ribbon and the metal tag on the outside of this cheerful lunch box of notes.

Aren't these brads perfect?
You can find them at the Eyelet Outlet.  The white middles add a nice punch to my colorful paper.

I don't use my cutting machine very often.
Thank you SVG Attic for pairing up with 3 Girl JAM and the encouragement to
design with my cutter!

Every so often...

You know, every so often, something falls through...
and today, that would be this dt post for 3 Girl JAM.

I could blame it on my new laptop that had to be mailed in last week for repairs..
or my very new phone that will be mailed in tomorrow for repairs..
But I just didn't see it marked in my calendar!

But, what you simply do not want to miss out on are
these amazing fibers and textures from 3 Girl JAM's store!

I used Sunflower and Cream Jute ribbon for this card.
Green Jeans makes up the crinkle ribbon bow.  It is one of my favorite green colors from 3 Girl JAM!

A jute string ties up the spiral clippie for added metallic sheen.
For me, a card is not complete if it doesn't have some pearls or rhinestones!

I also used Craft Glue Dots ® to secure the jute ribbon. They are GREAT for sticking things together!  Micro Glue Dots ® secure the pearls when I handle them too much and they lose their tackiness.

Thanks for patiently waiting for my card and designer post today.
Come visit the rest of the designers at 3 Girl JAM blog
as I impatiently patiently wait for my electronics to be fixed and returned!

Catch a Wave...

The colors of crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM can be mixed and matched ...
to create any number of combinations that will go along with the theme or feeling you are looking to display on your card.

Here I used three colors for a watery, fun card for the summer...
(So very glad summer finally came to MI!)

Now..what three colors would you chose for a spicy, hot sunshine card??

Thanks so much for swimming by today!

Surf's Up
Sunshiny Day

Jute!!

3 Girl JAM has more than just crinkle ribbon.
The amazing Jute and String Pack is great to add texture to your project...
To tie something up...
To make a handle for a bag...
To add a bit of masculinity to your design...

Which is just what I did for today's project!
Keep your colors manly and embellishments cool.

Then just add a strip of Merlot Jute...with a star bard to secure it!
(I also used Glue Dots Craft Dots for this project!)

Cool, cool, coolio!
Any guy is going to love this manly, scrappy card!

Pretty Cute Stamps June/July Hop...Summer Fun!!

Welcome to the Pretty Cute Stamps Summer hop!
So glad you took some time away from amusement parks, camping,
swimming, reading books, and enjoying the sunshine to hop the hop with us today.

You should have found your way to my cabana by way of Lisa's blog...which is
also the start of this hop! When you follow each designer and comment along the way, you are entered into a drawing for a $15 gift certificate to thePCS Store!   For extra chances:

1. You can "LIKE" Pretty Cute Stamps on Facebook
2.  and/or sign up for the Pretty Cute Stamps Mailing List

A random winner will be chosen for the prize on July 9th, 2015.

I made a gift certificate slider using the new set: PenPals 2.
As usual, PCS has included so many adorable sentiments...
that stretch this "pen pal" set into a set for so many occasions.
Who doesn't love a gift card?
But here is a great way to make it interactive for the recepient!

I cut a decorative file fold to 5 x 5.5 inches. Along the longer edge, I scored it at 2.5 inches and 5 inches.  I punched a hole for the Crinkel Ribbon to slide through. My insert measures 4 x 2.25 inches.

Along with the new stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps, I used black crinkle ribbon from 3 Girls Jam...
and 1" Lines from Glue Dots to create this slider.
Removable Glue Dots hold my Amazon Gift card and there is room for a note on the back...
decorated with that happy lady face and sentiment!

All New Releases will be on sale through July 7, 2015, and that they can save even more by purchasing the June/July 2015 Stamp Bundle.

A note regarding orders from Lisa:
***I'm on vacation during the release, so all orders placed between July 1-8 will be mailed out on July 9. :) ***

Thanks so much for joining us today.
What is your favorite set from the new release? I would LOVE to hear from you!
Have fun basking in the sun over on Janna's blog!

Keep It All Tied Up!

Crinkle ribbon is a great way to keep paper packages and bags closed up or tied up!
With so many colors to choose from, you are bound to find 3 Girl JAM ribbon that matches your designer paper.

Here I used Sunshine from Sunny Meadows Collection.

This bag is made from a single piece of patterned cardstock that measures 8.5 x 11.
I am going to fill it with treats for a friend!
I used 1 " Glue Lines by Glue Dots ® to secure this bag.
The stamps can be found at Pretty Cute Stamps:
