Time to do the Wave!!

It's summer time...and time to have some watery, wavy fun with
Lovebug Creations' very unique..Mama's Mesh!
Did you know that there are 15 different colors you can buy?
You don't have to keep it straight for your crafting projects.

Here, I cut a wave into it.
I flipped the small section to the bottom...
sponged both the top edge and the bottom edge with a blue ink.

The sentiment can be found at Starvingartistamps.
The Mini Butterfly brads and Bling Strips come from the Eyelet Outlet.

Remember, Glue Dots ® are GREAT for keeping things secure. I used Minis for the ends of my bling strips. I handled them too much and they lost a bit of stickiness.
Permanent Glue Dots ® are great for keeping the Mama's Mesh on your projest!!

Rumpled...but so darling!!

 Hi crafters!
This is Dawn, of Sunnyside Up, just checking in on this fantastic Friday!
By now, spring has even popped up here in Michigan and I thought I'd show you a frilly
card that will get you lots of admiration b/c of the embellishments!

I folded a long, tall envie into a gate fold.
Then, beribbonedthe edge with Buttercup rumple ribbon from the Southern Sass Collection by Lovebug Creations.  Then, I bedecked the top flap using Spring Lilac and Blue Bells from the Gardens of Tara Collection.

I used Glue Dots  ® to adhere these Beautiful Blooms to my flap.
A Repositional Glue Dot keeps my flap shut!
I love these flowers.  They are lightweight and colorful.
What colors would YOU like to see in the LBC store?

I created this simple card.
Well..honestly...I cut down a pre fab card to fit inside my envie.
After I added a lilac insert and the watercoloring/sequins...who would think this was
ever store bought!

Show your gratitude with a whole lot of flare and style...
For more colors, please sashay on over to the Lovebug Creations store!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!!
Or, should I say, "Merci!!"

Tag cards x 2

I created some accordian tag card svgs for my Sizzix eclips.
Then, I used the fabulous products from The Eyelet Outlet
to give my base some character and interest!

For this one, I went with a Monster theme!

Blue and Purple Pearl Bling dot this cheerful card!

Monster brad and a clever sentiment!

Don't stop at Paper Flowers to spruce up your projects.
Just check out the fun Monster Ribbon at the top of the tag!

But, if you want a multi eyed monster, keep digging around that package of brads!
Here are 3 other brightly colored monster to get your friend to giggle and smile!

I love the happy colors of this Monster Line!!
So happy and cheerful!

For my second accordian tag card svg, I used a rounded tag.
All you need to do is line up 4 tags a
nd weld them together in the creative software
that goes along with your cutting system!
Easy and fun!

Then, I layed on the funny Sock Money Brads, Paper Flowers, and Red Bling Strips!
The colors pop against the caramel card stock base.

Next, I used a brad that went along with my sentiment.
Do you see the Hanger Brad? And the single Bling?

Notice any other Eyelet Outlet Product?
Yeppers...that is our Circle Washi Tape.
I simply cut out a shape using a die.
Then used the washi in stripes to cover the panel.
My own Eyelet Outlet Designer Paper! lol

A few other Paper Flowers pick up the colors and theme, while the
Bling Strips is a nice repeated element on my card!  (Those pearls and bling in the center of the Paper Flowers are from The Eyelet Outlet too!)

On my last panel, I found another brad, the Car Brad, to capture the theme of the sentiment
on this individual panel.

The result is an eye catching accordian tag card!

The sky is the limit for all the lovely themes you can recreate using
the eye catching products of The Eyelet Outlet.

Thanks for hanging around with us today!!

Flutterby Kisses

My mother's god mother fell and was seriously injured a week ago,
just one day before her 79th bday!
Since she will be in a rehab center for 6 weeks, I created this cheerful
frame to bring her happiness and to brighten up her room.

This frame show cases Lovebug Creation's Panter Pink and Simply White Rumple Ribbon.
With a variety of colors to chose from, be sure to stock up so you can match any print or color of papers
you have on hand!

This was originally a black frame.  Since I wanted it light and airly, I painted several coats of white acrylic paint on it. Then, with sand paper, I distressed the edges.

I chose to do away with the glass pane of the frame.  This way, the rumple ribbon happily flutters in the breeze...along with the flutterbys!

I cut out my sentiment in vinyl.
Don't you like the "xoxo" in the corner?

Pop Up Glue Dots ® are used to secure these fabric and rhinestone butterflies.
I used Mini Glue Dots ® to keep the frills in my ribbon.
as well as secure the mini  primas.

Honestly, this is going to be another gift that I woudl want to keep for myself.
Thanks so much for checking in on me today.
