Happy Together

Show a little love to your little ones with the Polar Bear brad set from Eyelet Outlet.

Here are some tips on how to use washi tape in creative ways.
Lay it down on card stock to create "glitter paper."  Then, use dies and punches to create new shapes. The HAPPY  and gold hearts are made from our washi tape.  So is the wavy snow drifts!

Glue Dots ® and Whimsy Hop!!

Welcome to the Glue Dots ® & Whimsy Stamps hop!
You should have arrived from Bev's blog.
If not, start at the Glue Dots ® Blog for a full hop of inspiration and fun and PRIZES!!

Whimsy Stamps and Glue Dots Inspirations Hop Join us from August 27h through August 31st for a fun joint blog hop between Whimsy Stamps and Glue Dots. Our teams will be sharing lots of beautiful projects featuring products from both of these companies. And we will have lots of prizes hidden along the hop as well as a grand prize valued at $100!

The Creative Makers received an amazing variety of products and stamps from Whimsy stamps.
They were so fun to use, especially the dies. I took some time to play around with them to see just how these window die sets worked. It's all about the negative space...as you can see by my first card!

Card makers, get some Glue Dots ® GlueTape!
It comes in a small dispenser which makes it convenient to use...and keeps your layers flat for mailing purposes!

Here, the sun like shape is a nice splash of color...
along with Whimsy's trendy enamel dots!
Supplies used:
Glue Dots ®: Gluetape, Mini Glue Dots ® (to make sure those enamels are secure!)

The Stitched Border Dies Trio has a stitched line die...that doesn't cut, only perforates.
Makes a great look to a simple card.

This image is Whimsy's Bunny with Cupcake stamp.
It's large..with a lot of space to watercolor in for those who enjoy coloring!

Glue Dots 1" Glue Lines ® are a great product to keep your watercolor paper flat...
and your project streamlined....no mess!

Sometimes, you need to pop things up to make a statement!

Here Pop Up Relief Glue Dots ® were used to prop up Whimsy's "Sweet and Salty" mermaid and sentiment.  Card makers and scrappers will love how these dots give just a little definition without the bulk of foam dimensionals.

The Card Boarder Window Die set was fun to use...love those stitched edging.
Just a bit of finesse...but still uncluttered.
The larger rectangle shape of this die set was used to create a writing panel for the inside of the card.

Did you know that Whimsy has stencils too?  Try using Removable Glue Dots ® to anchor your stencil while you dab color on.  This will give you "an extra hand" while you are working that panel or area...and then they can be easily removed! A win-win situation!

Supplies used:
Glue Dots ® GlueTape, Mini and Micro dots, Pop Up Relief, Removeable
