Getting in Shape

I have become friends with Lauren the great through the Eyelet Outlet design team.
She is so encouraging and so talented!
And I love her designs.
She contributes to a challenge blog called
and each time she posts marvelous examples for the challenge.

Yesterday, I took a crack at it...
Getting in Shape for the new year...
which is great b/c
I am...physically and craftally.
Yes, Craftally is a word....enjoy it!

We were challenged to create a shaped card, no circles or squares/rectangles.
In honor of Valentines, I went with a heart.

And in honor of my anniversary of being asked to be a designer for Starving Artistamps eight years ago...I used their images/sentiments!

Basically, you fold your paper base in half...cut it out with the nestie die
so that the top edge still has a fold.
Cut another full die...and adhere it to the top of the card base with Glue Dots ®, of course.

Then you decorate the front (and inside if you are ambitious)...as you wish.
I used some great rainbow glitter washi tape from Eyelet Outlet as well as bling.
Bling just makes everything sweeter!
And..boy, I love pairing a pink seal with this sentiment.
Love it!
