Fall Owl

I love new folds. The TLC challenge on SCS has been showing me some new ones recently.  This Twisted Card Fold has sat on my table for a few days before I embellished it.  What I didn't like, was the bulkiness of the pockets.  To solve the problem, I sliced the front edge...aka the binding...but just the top layer. This allowed the layers to "sit" and lay flat.  Maybe my patterned papers were to thick. I originally tried it with some card stock...and it was just to squished.  I love how this turned out.

Here I used my Starving Artistamps...DF Animals and DF Valentine Sentiments.

I also used some fun clear Dew Drops from Robin's Nest that I have been hoarding.  You gotta love a good horde! haha

Whoooooo do you think wants this card?

WooHooo - this is so cute. Guess I need to start thinking outside of the box aka known as rectangles! Not sure it will happen.
