Stamp Simply...simply great sets!
I was so tickled to be a part of the Stamp Simply Design Team as a guest designer
over the last couple of months. What a fun group of gals...

My son, Connor, just returned from a 2 year mission..and his word most used and most understood now is HOPE. So I think that one day, I'll tuck this card into his suitcases when he goes of to college.

I used Wedding & Anniversary Wishes for this card.
And this is one of my favorites!
The bouquet of flowers are propped up on dimensionals.
Then, I stamped and water colored the floral image again...but this time, I punched it out with a heart die...for a little embellie all my own.
It coordinates..and it's a nice accent piece in the corner!

So in love...
I have been so in love with the stamps and products from Stamp Simply.
What a great group of ladies to design with!
This month's release is so inspiring...esp during such a tumultuous time in the world.
We all need a bit more love, respect, hope and kindess...and of course FAITH.
In each other...and in a higher power.
I used punches to create details..then used 3d Crystall Lacquer to make them glossy.
It's a great way to keep your embellishments coordinating with the decorative papers.

The Great Outdoors in MI
Many people enjoy the great outdoors here in Michigan b/c there are an abundance of wild life and opportunities to seek them out...or enjoy nature.
Welp, I'm more of the indoor kind of gal.

I have lived in a great lakes state for my entire life...I love lake life.
I collected a few maps along my cross US journey last summer.
I got the MI map out of the van and stamped the image right on top of the map.
Upon close inspection, you can see lots of MI cities and points of interest.
I'm definitely going to be using these cards for my kids when they go back to school in the Rockies.
Who knows..maybe by then Stamp Simply will have a few more state sets.
But please, do Ohio next!! haha

Drum roll..and an announcement!
I'm happy to announce that I was recently invited to be part of the
Stamp Simply Design team for the next 2 months as a Guest Designer.
Squeal! What an honor to be contacted..and what a fun set of stamps made their way to my stamping room!
This week, the Stick Family Set and Stick Sentiments have been released.
This are fully clothed and you get to design their hairdos! How fun is that.
Such a novel idea for a stamp set.
Just in time for Mother's day,
this set is going to be amazing for all sorts of cards!
Here I paired mom up with some baking items.
B/c you know me, I bake..and cook...
and I have wild hair on any given day...
Oh! And I DO typically have an apron on in my house! hehe...
Yep, this is me to a tee!
I love how the Fishtail Sentiment Banner Dies are the perfect size for the sentiments...
or vise versa. So well planned!
