Happy Birthday, Teenager!

How is this for a fabby card for a girl turning 13?

All papers used can be found on the Paper Temptress website.  The BASIS line is great for sturdy card bases.  The Corrugated Colors line adds so much texture and dimension to your paper crafting projects,.  I have found that glue dots are the best way to adhere them to your base. Only, line up carefully!  One it's stuck, it's going to be awefully hard to hard to unstick the layer.

I can't believe I have waited so long tom ake an easel card! This one, when finished, measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches.  Plenty of room on the inside to write a note to your favorite teen!

The Laser and Pearlseent papers add a bit of shimmer to the cellphone image.  I'm sooooo grateful to Melody for this Gina K,. set. I think it's going to come in VERY useful as my own kids continue to grow.  Thanks!!

Love the cell phone Dawn!

As for the fingerless gloves, the link to the pattern is on that blog posting. It was really easy! It is just a knit stitch for the whole thing, you make a rectangle, and fold it in half and stitch up the sides leaving a spot open for your thumb. Try it!
