Pieced Squash

Today's F4A36 challenge over at SCS is paper piecing

In a few days, a lot of us will be scavenging through candy bags looking for some tasty morsel after our little goblins are fast asleep. So, I thought I’d give you some practice rummaging and scavenging! Quietly and quickly, rummage through those scraps of pretty papers that you hoard…and paper piece some stamped images! (I know you have some piles tucked away for those “just in case I need it” crafting situations!) Trust me, it’s better for your waistline and hips!

Here are two examples...

Subtle papers...b/c Basic Grey can be like that! But it's super great to use on images from Mark's Finest Papers.

And the funky fun papers using Starving Artistamps!

I love the cardinal image and the peaceful colour combination. Are Cardinals quiet or noisy birds?
I am listening to the raucous sounds of galahs and crows right now.

I believe that many early settlers went quite mad when they came to Australia because the birds here don't sing or carol they screech and scream!
