Ornament

Here is a fun ornament that anyone can make. I cut the shape from a coaster using a nestie.

And then, you just cut and decorate as you wish. My blog group, Tangled Up In Creativity, is having a challenge to come up with ideas for a Boy Scout Troop to make for residents of a Nursing Home. I'm sure this can be altered for the boys' abilities. Additionally, if the resident doesn't have his own tree, this can be hung on a hook or on the door knob to bring happiness to their room. Hmmmm...I'm thinking that I need to make one of these for one of my own family members who is now languishing away in a nursing home. But I will make a Halloweeny one first!
Oh...and this bear comes from a new MFP set called Time to Chill. I'll have another idea tomorrow. Be sure to stop by to check it out!

This is an adorable ornament - it would look very cheerful on a tree or a door handle. Love it!

This is a wonderful project that could be adapted by the boys to give to the residents of the nursing home and one that they can treasure for many years to come!
