Recently I have thought that I have too many cards on my blog and not enough amusing thoughts. Which is perhaps why I changed the name of this blog too. I just found out that my mom started a new blog. Which is sort of funny. B/c why not just change the title of your blog or start a new way of writing on it. But a completely new blog is probably like the thinking we do on the first day of the New Year...or our birthdays.
My sister blogged about a cyber buddy who does random acts of kindness...the same number as she is in years. But I thought, "Boy, I sure hope I'm doing Random Acts of Kindness" DAILY...so that would mean I should be doing 365 a year. Or perhaps this blogger thought about doing bigger RAKs throughout the year.
Another habit I have, especially on Sundays...is to write down a list of people who I should send cards to. And yes...sometimes that is just as far as the list gets. I did make a list on Sunday and today, I will get my butt in gear and write and mail out cards. Not that I would count that has a RAK...or at least it would be a small RAK.
Yeah, so my birthday is coming up. A new year, new resolution. (I've lost the weight...and I"m exercising daily. It's a life style change, I tell you. And I've changed!) I had one a week or two ago that I didn't actually, fully embrace, yet. Perhaps I will. I have a super great friend named Amy who is so pleasant and kind and not snarky and judgemental like me. Or if she is, she keeps it to herself. So I thought about trying to be more like that.
Although, lately, I have thought about being happier or more pleasant. Which is sort of along the same lines. Then, reading my mom's new blog. Hmmmmm...I have a few more days to think about what new life change I want to make.

It is amazing how we all continue to evolve. Awesome idea to do the same number of RAKs as your age.
birthdays can be motivation to change or opportunities to become depressed looking back...
changes for the better are always better. if you decide to not be snarky then I will make that my goal for your bday as well.
I like the simple but concrete idea of writing names down on Sunday of people who should get a card that week. I have been stamping...not mailing. Gotta change that!
