The Final Frontier... (insert some doodlicious theme music!)

Welcome to the Starving Artistamps New Release Blog Hop! We are so excited to be presenting you with the newest collection in our DoodleFactory line...

DoodleFactory Final Frontier

You are going to want to visit all the stops on our hop because someone is giving away a complete unmounted set of the new release for blog candy. We are keeping the blog candy open for one day only so your chances of winning are even better! (blog hop ends October 21st, 11am PST). If you just can't wait to get your hands on the new Final Frontier set don't worry you can order it starting now and if you are our lucky winner we will let you substitute another set of equal value instead!

If you have arrived here all by yourself and are just finding out about the blog hop please start at the beginning:

START AT THE MOTHERSHIP before proceding!  If you started there already, let's blast off and take a look at my doodle-universe!

As soon as I saw this gigantic earth stamp and "Peace on Earth" sentiment in this new Doodlefactory set, I knew I had to make a christmas card, where the comets are "holly."  The berries are made up of red rhinestones.

Here is a fun technique to do with these mini creatures and robots:  Faux Postage!

I squished this large alien into the spaceship.  The right side of this card front is cut 3/4 inch smaller.  The comets are stamped as an edge/border and embossed in sparkly embossing powder.  I used Saturn's rings in the same manner for the blue blackground.

I used silver and red Sakura pens to give this robot metallic coloring.  But why stop at decorating at the front of a card?

The inside echoes the layout with a red triangle and sentiment!

I added green stickles to that alien.  (This cardstock is night of navy...not black.)

This is another one of my favorites...simple and sweet.  And I just like the repetition of the moon in space and the moon he is standing on!

Thanks for stopping by, now it's time to beam on over to Jen McMillan 's blog for your next stop.

I love your faux postage card.

How did you do that? Is it scissors or a die cut shape for the postage?
