Making things Equal

Since I had made a mini notebook for DD, I need to make one for each of my boys. I let R* pick the stamp b/c he said all my stamps are too girlie. haha.  I was going for a really cool sport quote that Paper Makeup sells.  He wanted the soccer monster.  So to comprimse, I cropped the quote down to "100%" when I had wanted to crop the monster down to just the soccer balls! haha.

Then, since I had  smashed my right middle finger in the outside door on the way to the bus stop yesterday afternoon, I figured I needed to do some stamp therapy to keep it limber after hours of ice.  Here is a funky fun card for my stash. Instead of white, I used yellow on the layers.  Also, as you might notice, I LOVE using Vellum as a mat when you need just a little bit more to a card. It's mostly clear but still gives the card a little "something."  My favorite vellum is by Paper Temptress. It is so thick. I love, love, love it!!

Another cute notebook. I have to add that I totally agree with you on the vellum. I have never tried Paper Temptress. I like vellum cardstock so that sounds like it is about the same. I just left SU so I am on the look out for getting comparable products. Thanks for the tip!
