Lastest Doodlefactory Rubber...BACKDROPS!!

As you might imagine, I was super excited when Tracey, owner of Starving Artistamps, asked me to design for the upcoming Doodlefactory release. Then, when I saw the images...wowee! Top Secret images and my mind had so many ideas! I can hardly wait until Sunday so I can post these fun cards!

Doodlefactory characters have such personalities that they just call out to be made into moving cards, scenes and other fun 3D things...Let's go on a journey using the new BACKDROPS!! Wahoo!

These backdrops are so multi-useful. In this card, I have use used it as a subtle, monochromatic background. Then on the oval, it becomes a colorful backdrop for Mr. Giraffe here!

With a scene as peaceful and restful as the tropical backdrop, I just had to make a step card! Ooh lala! Doodlefactory images are great to layer like this!

(Arrrrrg! Wish me had a trunk of filthy lucre...just think of the rubber I could buy! haha)

This seemingly plain card front has a surprise inside....

YES! a pop-up card! Sneeq is roasting a marshmellow...tent in place...moon up above. And notice, you don't need to do heavy duty coloring for all of these images.

On this camping card, everything was stamped, embossed and cut out...NO COLORING. Still magical!

As soon as I saw the City Backdrop, I knew that it had to have a car...and one that moved....from the left...
to the right...just pull gently on the ribbon. Needless to say, my kids all want their own moving car card! (Tutorial is in the previous post.)

Peek a boo Sfen card...bright and lovely egg...
for a sort of mopey looking rabbit!

Sfen detail.

Clara the cow gets dolled up for this Thank Moo card...

with BLUE STICKLE EYE SHADOW!

Okay...Frozee just needed a funky fun card...even if DD didn't think it was a good one...haha. Even 8 year olds are critics!

Again...subtle backdrop...this time I used daubers to sponge on some faint/faded coloring...but Mokie heats things up with her fire dance.

And presto magic...another card.. without manual coloring. All images were embossed onto decorative papers and cut out. You gotta have a steady hand to cut these critters out...but it is so worth it!

Last (and this certainly won't be the last Doodlefactory card I design) I created this Sweet Twee card. You can't go wrong with bold and bright primary colors using your Doodlefactory stamps! (I think C and M like this card the best. Which is your favorite?)

Holy DoodleFactory motherload, you have been stamping up a storm!

I love all the no-color or minimal color options you offered. I had fun coloring in my scenes, but it takes a lot of time (and ink!).

The safari scene you created at the top is just awesome - great idea and execution.

I am not sure which my favorite is but they are all amazing cards!Love the step card but I gotta say the popup card is over the top inventive since no one would expect the fun and excitement to be on the inside. A perfect surprise.
