I probably wouldn't be a good Destination Diva if I didn't post something about VSN...even though the last challenge was posted 39 minutes ago.
I participated in VSN when it was small and new. Over the course of time, it grew and grew...got more challenges, more specific rules...stream lined...
Well, a month or so ago, the call went out for new Coordinators to head up the next one. GuarinoMom asked me to do it with her...after a few tricky Stalkers nominating and seconding me, and Jen...well...we were asked to be the next Coordinators.
It was a really easy job. There was a lot of work to do, don't get me wrong. But the Vacation Vixens (hostesses) were hard working, creative, and on time with their assignments. That made our work so much easier as the COs. Not only that, but Jen and I really "messed" together well. We'd have to too, considering...I live in the Eastern Time Zone and she's in the Pacific Time Zone. It's great having someone to work with who works well, is easy to talk to, doesn't take offense to suggestions...goodness...my praise for GuarinoMom can go on and on. She is awesome.
B/c of several factors, one of which, I'm a mom, I didn't stamp anything this weekend. No biggie. But tonight, my DD, bathed and ready for bed, came up to me almost in tears. I couldn't understand her and asked her to repeat herself. "Remember it's Virtual Stamp Night mom and I haven't made my card." "You can make it in the morning before church," I replied. Of course, that wasn't going to do. So she stayed up and made it tonight. She is really thoughtful, talented and creative. Here is her master piece!
With that...I'm getting ready for bed! GN!!
