Fabulous Friday News!

So last night, I went to a Ustream party with Pink by Design fans.  Boy, were there a LOT of giveaways for this month's release.  Also...my favorite...tons of chatter!   After a bit, we made this darling slider box.  Earlier in the week, fans were told what paper dimensions we needed.  So, when it came time to craft...all we did was score, fold and glue!  (Of course...then embellish wildly!!)   Not knowing what we were making was sort of hard for me. I like to KNOW!! And of course...what color combo would I need?

All in all, the finished slider box is perfect for a small, sweet treat or a love note, or box of brads, rolled ribbons, or primas!! I even decorated the inside of the drawer.  Yum

But...lookie here!  The top is actually a flap where you can adhere a message or darling sentiment from Pink by Design.   Oh and then...after a few more giveaways...

the big DESIGN TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT...

Yeppers! Yours truly made the cut. (And I heard there was some stiff competition!)  Be sure to check out THIS LIST of the other designers.  So...I am now leaving the inside flap of my box blank. That way, when my pink mailer arrives, I can ink up a new PBD stamp and fit this box for a special someone.

Last night was super fun! I hope you'll join us next month!!  I actually was awake a bit longer...

I picked up DD at midnight, after our first heavy snow fall...so she didn't have to stay awake all night with her buddies.  (She obviously is wise enough to know that sleep is a good thing! haha)  Luckily, Ken went with me and drove...b/c the roads were really slippery.  Meanwhile today...not inky...but DD is nearly done with her Valentine Box... and DS has completed his!
