Welcome to the Glue Dots ®/Card Maker Blog hop!
We are celebrating this glorious fall season with inspiration and creativity!!
You should have been directed to my blog from Kelly's blog!
If you have stumbled upon my blog and want to see the entire line up,
jump on your broom stick and start at the CardMaker blog!
This year I was invited to a Witches' Tea.
While I have no witchy wadrobe items, creating a hat was a cinch with simple
items that I purchased from The Dollar Tree and Glue Dots ®.
Supplies:
Glue Dots ®: Craft, Pop Up Relief, Mini
Witch Hat
Flowers
Spider Ring
Stuffing
Tools:
Wire cutters
Scissors
If you want your hat to stand up, fill the point with polyester stuffing.
I am thinking of adding a hankie to hold it in while I were it to the luncheon.
Flowers are great!
Wire cutters help you cut off the wire stems.
But think about using those flowers on the stems for added interest and color. Simply trim off the edge using scissors before adhering them to your hat.
Use Pop Up Relief and Craft Glue Dots ® to secure the fall foliage.
One hint: Arrange the flowers and embellishments around the brim. Once you find the perfect look,
take a picture. Then refer back to it as you glue it down.
Use wire cutters to clip the plastic ring off your spider.
Mini Glue Dots ® will secure the small spider feet nicely!
Thanks so much for joining the Glue Dots ® and CardMaker blog hop today.
Here is the official list of all the participants. We hope you are inspired to get creative!

Great ideas. Love the hat and all the flowers. A lovely project!
What a clever idea to have a "witch's tea" I wish I were invited! I love this hat and the color combination of the hat & flowers really pops!

Love, love your hat. Thanks so much for the how-to.
Love the hat - and the color
I can't say that I've ever heard of Witches Tea!
I've never heard of witches tea but sounds awesome! Love your hat and the vibrant colors!
So many uses for Glue Dots! They really come in handy!
Great hat. My great-great-grand aunt was burned as a witch in 1840. This will be a good memorial to do for her.
Like the witches hats, thank you for sharing it with us.
That is a fabulous idea! Love your witch hat idea!
What witch wouldn't jump at the chance to get
to wear this beautiful hat. She'd probably
be willing to give the spider a ride.
thanks for sharing.
I like how you decorated this hat.
Great idea, wish I had seen a purple hat!
