Oh, we have SO been enjoying the heat and the sun and the pool!
But, here is a refreshing, happy card using projects from several fabulous companies.
The sentiment comes from Joy's Life: Pun in the Sun set.
Don't you love the bold font of "summer?"
I used Sorbet Paper (with fun streaks of glitter) and black Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest
to create a delicious treat. No pattern here...just cut a watermelon looking shape. Stick it onto of a green paper...and trim to create the rind. I also sponged the layers of this melon to give it a bit of definition. To tie in the sunny yellow banner, I used Sunflower Rumple Ribbon from
Lovebug Creations.
This card is quick and cute...and perfect for a summer greeting!
