Years ago when I was tormenting myself over a heartbreak, I first heard this quote in a little different way.
"Whenever God closes a door, He opens a window."
But, I had been standing so long at that closed door, I neglected to see the open window.
It is something that I try to remember each time I am faced with disappointment or when things aren't really going my way.
But...we all know it isn't always easy.
