For a Fairy and her Mother...

Sarah, from the Pink Cricut and owner of Pink by Design, hostessed a fabulously fun Master Craft Challenge.  I signed up, paid the small fee for shipping and received all of this:

Along with the pink Scissor Mouse from Westcott.
Here's a picture b/c I forgot to add it to the pile!

I thought that a fairy house would be the perfect project for this
MasterCraft Challenge.  After painting this house in gold paint, I cut out the
panels using Westcott's scissor mouse.  I embossed flowers and swirls from Paper Makeup Stamps and
embossed them in sparkly gold embossing powder.
Modge podged a couple of coats.
Then, out came the glue gun for my embellishments!

Do you see the fairy?

Well, in case you missed her...I decided to make a little booklet for notes and musings...
Out came the paper cutter and Glue Dots © ultra thin for the book.  Helmar's Rhinestone Glue
is amazing for rhinestones on fabric!  I sewed the flower with a quick basting stitch.
Beads for accents.  "Always" sentiment from Pink By Design.

The notebook fits into the bag...and yes, can be hung over the fairy perch!
(DD's idea!)
Paper from my Mat Stack.  Rhinestones from the challenge supplies.  Even the white always tag was made from the back of the DCWV Matstack papers!

This is just darling in real life...pix never seem to do it justice!
So, this ensemble will be for my daughter and I to write little tweets to each
other and to leave in secret place. I'm sure fairies were the first to tweet,
don't you think?

You did an excellent job. I know that you are the first person I recognized as a name when I started scrapbooking. You did such fabulous work & I loved everything you did. I thought that you had the best project as "Master Crafter" as well. :)
