Magnanimous

mag·nan·i·mous/magˈnanəməs/

Adjective:
Very generous or forgiving, esp. toward a rival or someone less powerful than oneself.

My friend, Adrienne, came over with her two girls to socialize with me tonight.  She brought me over a hand out from a church meeting she attended earlier today.  As I read it, I said that I don't use the word "magnanimous" very often.  I was able to fit it in to my conversation as she was putting out her daughters' shoes.  (Only b/c O* only wanted her mom's help.)

I decided to look up the word and review its definition. I guess I only thought the word meant generous.

Now I know it means forgiving.  So...that's the word for the week...and the goal for a lifetime...whether or not it applies to someone with more, or less, power then myself...

MANANIMOUS....

Try it, you'll like it!
