Vacation!

It's that time of year to frolic in the sand and surf and wave!
I create a vacation journal and three collaged post cards using so many fabulous products
from The Robin's Nest.  Now all I need is that tropical adventure!

Complete ensemble.

Here I used Beach Stickers, Winter Retreat Dew Drops, and Seashore clippies to embellish this junior legal pad cover which was made out of Palm Tree Glitter paper.  The sentiment is from the Palm Tree Rub-ons.
(Side note: you can purchase that netting from The Robin's Nest too!
Here I just used it as back drop for my  project.)

The inside holds a junior legal pad...just ready for notes, phone message, or journaling/sketching while on your tropical get-away!  There is a side pocket for souvenirs..or post cards.  I thought that if I had cards made ahead of time, I could lay on the beach longer.  (I abhor shopping!)

All three  post cards were created using a 4 x 6 index card. Then I layered and collaged rubons and stickers and cut paper from The Robin's Nest.  As it is a post card,
it is important to keep all layers as flat as you can!!

How is this for a view of the ocean waves?  (Okay, I cheated. That red stripe is a scrap from CS Mouse paper.  I just needed one more splash of red!)

To make these post cards and the notebook unified, I sponged the edges with earthy toned ink.

Now...All I need is the VACATION!

Happy Summer to all!
