ERPOM 4

Just look at this totally awesome image by Mark's Finest Papers.  Faith sent me this TO BE RELEASED set this week and I was sooooo excited to use it.
But why do all the pretty images have to go on the outside?

Your ERPOM4 challenge:  Make a card with a relatively plain front, a window cut out...and the stamping on the INSIDE:

Everyone is free to join in our blog challenge fun!

A conversation

Mother:  "Son, Why didn't you tell me that you needed new shoes?"

Son:  "B/c I don't!"

Shoes:

Guess this sort of  attitude starts early.

Overheard

We were just watching the musical numbers from last night's Glee.  Which...I let my kids watch most of the songs...just not the show itself.

So, after Run, Joey, run, E* asks, "Mom, Who is Joey?" hahaha.

Last night was an awesome episdoe. As soon as I saw the Hammer pants, I knew that the next song HAD TO BE "U Can't Touch This!"   I sure can't wait until Glee volume 3 comes out.

So...that was only the 3rd time I caught the numbers from last night.  Sure to listen/watch them some more!

May Peeks have begun!

Today is the first day of Paper Makeup Stamps' May sneak peeks!  Yeah!  This one was made in honor for my sister and bil who are going to have a man-child in September!

I used naturals ivory paper and kept is clean and simple.  There is one rhinestone on that heart.  The fairy boy is stamped in blue.  I used daubers to highlight his bear, cheeks and wings.  A nestie cut out was used as a heart stencil to highlight the "in your heart" phrase!

If you want to see more word art sneak peeks, flutter on over to the PMS blog!

I Shrek, You Shrek...

We all love the Shrek!! haha...well...my dad sure does. His birthday is around the corner. (I don't believe he reads my bloggie.) Shrek IV is also around the corner. So for his bday, I decided to gift him with an evening with Shrek, Donkey and Puss. And then it dawned on me...that Starving Artistamps' Doodles can make up this funtastic trio. Flob is so totally Shrek.  And this fat feline is most definitely Puss, if you have seen the movie trailers!  Only, I didn't have Donkey (aka Dunkle). Luckily, Mybearybest, came to my rescue and stamped a few of these hooved, sterile beasts and sent them my way!

Voila la box...

Turn up the heat!

Summer is practically upon us. And, sitting out at my neighbor's garage sale on Friday got my skin a blistery red! haha. So here are some hot cards I made recently using the Starving Artistamps' Doodlefactory set:  Tropics!  I bought a pack of these vibrant yellow notecards (with matching envies) on clearance a while back.  After adding more vibrant colors, the end result is a luscious set of note cards...perfect for summer note writing! (Use the code savetenDM for 10% off your purchase at Starving Artistamps!)

Overheard

C* was finishing off the whipped cream and Ken wasn't too happy. Mom:  "First come, first served!"

C:  "Yeah, just like the Colorado River Compact."  And then he went on to explain the significance of that! haha He's a smart boy!

And y es, Ken and the kids spent an hour in the rain....the POURING RAIN!  Now we are enjoy icecream.

Overheard

A:  "Mom...Can I sit in the rain?"

It's 7:05pm...and really raining! haha

Edited:  Guess who woke up 2 times last night...queasy and then vomitting!

On the crumb trail...

I sure hope you found all the digi crumbs yesterday with the Paper Fairy Stamps Team.  Today, you will want to gather the crumbs from the Paper Temptress team!  Start at the Anita's blog so you won't miss a thing. If you did that already, you should have arrived from Tina's Blog.  Leave messages along the way...especially at the end point aka, the company blogs!!!  You will be entered to win a $15 GC from Paper Tempress and 6 free digi images from Paper Fairy Stamps.  Here are two cards that I created using Paper Temptress paper along with the digi stamps from Paper Fairy.

Yeppers...summer is on its way and that means ICECREAM...Triple Scoop!

I printed my digi files onto Ivory Neenah.  The base of this card is also Ivory.  My Neopolitan scoop of cardstock is:  Cocoa Ruche, Watermelon/Mango double sided, and Gold Pearl Linen...all on the Ivory Neenah card base. YUMMY!

Perhaps you are more of the sundae type. Then check out this cup of icecream! It is perfect for dieting stampers! haha  With a cherry on top!

Again, the digi file is printed on Ivory Neenah.    The base is made up of Peacock Blue Premium Glossy CS.  It's slick, just like a store bought card. But this paper has a white back and great for embellishing or writing a note to your firend.  Spring Green Skinny Columns and Metallic Rose Quartz papers are used to create the decorative striping across the card.

Remember...all papers can be found at the Paper Temptress store. And use the keyword: dm15 (lowercase) for 15% off your order!!

Well, I sure hope I didn't spoil any healthy eating pledges. Now flutter on over to Debbie's blog for another pile of crumbs!
