Celebrate Those Resolutions!

I  make chocolate chip cookies all the time. Probably every 5 or 6 days. B/c they are really only good “right out of the oven,” right? So, starting in December, I resolved that for the next year, I would not make any chocolate chip cookies. I can make another other cookie recipe, except for my regular (and favorite) chocolate chip recipe. Another resolution that I started last year (but need 2011 to make it come to fruition) is to do more sewing.

Today’s F4A45 challenge is to make a card that celebrates your resolution for 2011. It can be anything EXCEPT stamping/scrapping. If you haven’t come up with a goal for next year, now is the perfect time to think up something fun, silly, serious, or adventurous! I’d love to see what you have planned for 2011!

Here are two cards I submitted on SCS as my examples:

DD loves the extra layer of eggs on dimensionals from this Paper Makeup set!  A week or so ago, I nearly gave in to my urge for chocolate chip cookies. I refrained...and was rewarded with a cookbook from J.VanPelt...who reads my blog. What a surprise it was to get a package in the mail.  Tonight, I made oatmeal cookies (with chocolate chips) from a Mrs. Field's recipe.  I haven't decided on a new one to try from the cookbook. But I'll let you know, Jen!

BTW, this uses a new set from Mark's Finest Papers...an extra sneaky peeky!!  All papers used on this card also come from MFP.  The copper CS and Parchment are perfect for the antique style images!

I love the sentiment on the first card...both cards are lovely! I have set a few goals for 2011...sadly, one is to eat less dessert!!!
