Applesauce!
For this Sherrod Studio challenge, make a criss cross card. Keyword: SSTT20
Now, I know, we are always trying to make our paper stretch. So I came up with a way to make a crisscross card using one sheet of paper. Get some double sided paper...that is on the heavy side...4.25 x 12 inches.
Score at 3.25 at each ends.
Then, cut the corners...on each side...about 2 inches from the bottom to the score lines.
Match corner angles on both sides....
Then, fold in...and you have the envelope...without the bulk.
You can make a belly band or decorate as you wish. My finished insert is 5.25 x 3.5 inches.
Get ready b/c Sherrod Studio is getting ready for their April release!

I haven't made one of these criss cross cards in a LOOONG time...I'll have to give it a go again using your paper saving tip!
I love what you did with the insert. Beautiful!
