Basically, I cut 3 hearts out of green felt using my nesties. I handstitched them together and then added the button. I dug out some pin backs and stitched them on the back. The ladybug is hot glued to the leaf.
You gotta love something to celebrate! We had green pancakes for breakfast. (Neon green is not a very dark green food coloring, fyi!)
Then I drove the kids to school. E*'s first grade class and their 3rd grade book buddies had a "Green Eggs and Ham" breakfast which I cooked up along with a few other mothers. Happy times!

Those shamrocks are pretty cool to wear. Our 4th grader didn't want to wear anything green today. He says, "Do I have to have green?" They're all growing up too fast:(
adorable pins. sadly, I can understand that Con is getting too old for pins. He needs not felt ones...but some crazy cool one, instead. One day he'll be old enough to be young again.
Dawn, those pins are too cute. My boys are still (very) little and I dread the day they become too cool. You know, Con would have been devastated if he didn't get a pin too.
OMG..very cute. They do grow up in a blink of an eye ..don't they!
Thanks for sharing these fabulous St. Patrick's Day photos, Dawn!!
What a fun day for the kids!!
The favorite child shirt strikes again!
