SSTT16...distressed

Today's Sherrod Studio challenge is all about the distressed look. Although, I think my card looks more like grunge!

The graphics on this Rock n Roll set are soooooo cool!

Inside view.

I used Paper Temptress papers for this card.  They have the neatest new papers!  Double sided kraft. Here I used the Cranberry Brown Bag.  I stamped "rock n roll" on the kraft side and folded the edges over to reveal the cranberry.  Paper Temptress carries 5 different variations of this text weight kraft paper.  You can do some neat layering with this stuff.  And the Citron Brawny RC100 is a great paper to use as your base.  It is study yet not too heavy.  Both types of paper take craft ink and embossing very well.

Now it's your turn to distress a card.  Link up on the Sherrod Blog and use SSTT16 for online galleries!  Then check out the Sherrod Sale!  40% off...you can get nearly 2 of the price of one! Great way to add to your stamp collection.

Love your card, I've tried using staples before but they just never did it for me, I have to say they were a great touch on this one.
