although the grinning tonight was rather half hearted.
Mom...fell right before we were sitting down to dinner at 5pm. Fell on her wrist...She was in so much pain b/c of her broken ankle and now injured. So..after sending my 3 kids upstairs, I had to call 911, flag down the ambulance (amazing what comes into your mind even in a crisis situation), worry for my mom, worry for my dad...spend 4 hours on the phone and facebook. (Didn't like, don't like facebook...but I sure am grateful for it now.)...
The hospital did confirm that mom's wrist is broken, and discharged her and told her to go to a doctor's office in the AM. Doesn't that take the cake!!
I would say that is the "not so amusing" tale...

Oh your poor mom! I'm so sorry to hear that she's injured her wrist now too. I'm amazed the hospital didn't take care of it. Praying for the doctor's visit today. What a blessing you were there when it happened to help.
that is so sad, our hearts go out to all of you. More prayers and hopes for better days...give my love to your mom.
