LOL

Good counsel is to "grin and bear it" when things get tough. And pretty much that is how it has been all month! Paper crafting has come to a near stand still but I wanted to show one more card before I head out to tend to my mom and dad this week.

Starving Artistamps recently released 2 new images sets and each has a matching sentiment set. That is definitely a fun aspect of this Doodlefactory line...PLENTY of fun sayings. Into the Woods sentiment set has 3 word bubbles/emoticons and so I decided to use them as the focal point on my card.

This is a modified tri-fold card. Chcolatechip cs is the base. But the base is 2 different sized papers. One is 4.25 x 5.5 for the card front. The other is 6.5 x 5.5. On this longer piece, I scored at .25 inches and 4.5 inches. Thus, a skinny edge to glue the top piece on and a 2 inch wide flap to fold over the top. (Of course, if you have 12 inch paper, you wouldn't need to bother with this! LOL)

(LOL...it did it again. I'll have to fix it later...blogger neck exercises!!)
On the inside, I glued down wite paper with the matching DP as a top border. Plenty of roon to write your thoughts, jokes, or congratulations to the recipient! If you're now head over heels for these fun bubbles, be sure to use the Keyword: saveten DM for 10% off your purchase!

you are busy, how great you can get away to take care of your mom. While you are with her, see if you can get her to start on her life story. That would be a good project for recuperation time and something her family would love. Give her my love...
