Ken just told me this funny. It just happened a short time after we arrived home from church this afternoon.
Apparently, E* (aged 5) stepped on C*'s (aged 9) foot. Ken thought it was an accident but of course, C was dramatic about it. "Ow! He hurt me." So then, to take revenge, C* went over and stepped (on purpose) on E*'s foot. "That didn't hurt. That didn't hurt," was the response that E gave.
Another funny from yesterday's trip to Michigan Adventure...which is an amusement park. We were all riding this ride which rotated rows of seats as if you were clock hands...around in circles both clock wise and then counter clock wise. So while looking absolutely frozen in fear and clutching the hand bar, C* was hollering "I'm lovin' it! I'm lovin' it!" It was halarious!

We did our first amusement park last weekend...our DDs are 4 & 6...same thing...screaming on the kiddie coaster, but then they said that was the favorite part LOL.
that's fun that you are writing down what your kids are saying while it's still fresh on your mind...they will laugh someday to read about themselves.
i think that "lovin' it" truly is a part of the fear that goes along with fun rides.
I'll never forget my son's 1st trip to Michigans Adventure - 1st ride we did was Zacks Zoom - he was 5. I rode with him and he said he was scared, so I told him just to scream really loud whenever he felt scared - needless to say he screams like a girl on roller coasters - including Space Mountain at DW. He loves em now.
Hope you had a great time!
