Triple Threat Friend Card

Today, I made this card using 3 challenges. For those who do not know what challenges I am talking about, let me explain. There is a website, Splitcoaststampers.com, which is a mega huge stamping website. Each day of the week there is a challenge. Monday is the technique loveer's challenge. Tuesday is the color combo challenge. Wednesday, my favorite, is the sketch challenge. And so on. Today, I used the Embossed Watercolor technique from Monday and yesterday's color challenge combined with today's sketch layout.

Although I wanted to stamp yesterday, I was cleaning and organizing the basement. I sort of just started in the morning when I was supposed to be treadmilling. And soon enough, most of the day was gone and it was time for the kids to get off the bus. Since I didn't get in my exercise, I decided to call the cleaning a work out. And boy, was it ever! I woke up sore but I did go through my teaching, fabric, art stuff, decorations, food storage, etc, etc...and well...our basement looks great! Now...if only everyone in my family was good about purging! hehe.
