Surprises!

I was just talking to my mom yesterday about getting gifts that you don't really want. It's not that I don't like gifts or appreciate the thought behind the actual giving...

I just prefer gifts that I like or gifts that I want or gifts that match me...make sense?

Anyways...

Today, I was coming back from the post office this morning with the 3 kids. I noticed a box on the front steps. I assigned #1 to get the mail out of the mailbox, 2# had to bring in a bag from the car and #3 was asked to go get the box on the front step. Since he is only 3 years old, I went with him to help. We were walking up the front steps and I said, "I think this box is from Granny." With wide eyes, he replied "Really? Granny? Where is she?" And he started looking up and down the street for her. Then I had to explain that she lives too far away and the postman brought it for her.

So we got into the house, shook off our coats and boots and ....


Okay...interruption here...DH just walked in the room and told me that our #1 son who is at this moment taking a shower...was using Head & Shoulders on his head and shoulders! Hahahaha


Back to the story...

We took off our winter clothes and we were rushing around b/c we had to make a birthday gift ensemble for the party that #2 was about to go to. I opened the package and to my utter surprise and delight...I found an ATG 700 gun...a double stick tape dispenser that has been discussed on Splitcoast. I didn't read too much about it b/c it sounded expensive. But who wouldn't want a fun, expensive tape dispenser to unexpectedly appear in a box on their front step?

Now to find out all out this magical tape dispenser. I have been talking about it for several hours. A few minutes ago, DH asked "What is this for anyway?" I said, "Stamping." Haha...what did he think it was for!?!!

I guess my stash of glue sticks will go to the kids!
