Cup for two??

Chilly weather is nearly upon us here in Michigan! But what fun it will be to give the cocoa card, which holds 2 packets of cocoa, to our favorite bus drivers!

This new penguin is from November 2011 Paper Makeup Stamps release!  I used a digi form and printed off two copies in 2 different sizes.  Then, I scored my 5.5 x 8.5 inch card stock at 4, 4.25 and 4.5 inches....to give me a width for the cocoa packets.

Be sure to click on over to the PMS blog to check out more sneak peeks!  Our blog hop will be on the 7th of November...as usual.  Also, be sure to pop into the PMS forums for games and prizes!

(Scroll down for another post today!)

Stress...

Being Stressed and Distressed is only good on a card!

Let's see what distressed techniques you come up with on your cards.  Here, I used my fingernail to distress my layers.  (And yes, I was stressed to discover that my distresser tool was missing....even though I never use it! haha)

Link up your distressed creation with OCL blog and we'll all relax as we check it out!

It's official...

I love making announcements...haha...

but I have just finished and posted all 33 challenge cards for HYCCT.  This is Splitcoasts' 2nd year of getting pink with ink!  I made this fabulous beauty last night. I wasn't sure how I"d get the frilly paper onto my card and was dreading ithe challenge. But I think this looks just GREAT!

The white cardstock and the pin come from Mark's Finest Papers. Did you hear? They are under new membership!

November Announcements...

Just a bit of fun news...

I'm super pleased to announce that Our Craft Lounge has extended my stay with them...for two months! Yippee!  I'm very happy to be staying on  with this sweet company!

Also...I will be designing for Inky Impressions....

Be sure to click back tomorrow to see what I have in store. But here is a little bit of a sneaky peeky!!

Meanwhile..check out their Inspirational Blog and their Challenge Blog!

Viva the bling!!

This month is going to start off sparkly over at Party Time Tuesdays!!

I was inspired to use this Viva Decor Glitter Liner to recreate the photo inspiration...a gem stone.

And don't you just LOVE that embossing cream from Viva Decor!?!  It's to die for. I used a brass stencil for the snowflakes and I"m so impressed by the definition...and texture.  It actually dries quite quickly. You'll be hooked!  Don't you love this simple Crafty Sentiments gal? Her lines are so open that there is plenty of room for coloring in (and decorating with Viva Decor glitter liner...note the shoes and scarf).

Now show us your interpretation of the photo inspiration (that can be found at Party Time Tuesdays)!  We love to ooh and aah over your designs for Challenge #40!
