Summer Season

The summer season is well under way now that the 4th of July has been celebrated.  Today, we are celebrating the new Paper Makeup Release.  You should have come by way of Jenn's blog.  If not, start at the beginning.

I am showcasing the new "Build a Sentiment Sentiment 2" set.  Be sure to add this set, along with it's previous set, to your cart today!

I chose to use a summery color combo today!  I'm sure this card will bring sunshine into a kid's life as well!

My letter for today is is a sunny, yellow:

Now...off you go to check out Shana's design.  Remember, there are 2 challenges for you on the PMS blog.  Tonight at 9pm est is the Paper Makeup Stamps Release Party.  (Fun and prizes are included.  Sorry....you have to provide your own food!  haha)

Roller derby, anyone?

One of my earliest memories was getting a pair of metal skates for Christmas one year.  They were the kind that you wore over your shoes. Clunky, hard to adjust. But boy, did we love them!  It was before my father finished the basement.  My sister and I could skate circles around the stairs. In fact, I remember skating around in that loop up until my dad put up the drywall.  When the studs were up, we'd walk through the walls!

So, you can imagine how thrilled I was to see that Paper Makeup was releasing a rollerskating fairy!  woweeeee!

To catch a glimpse of the other to be  released fairies, check out the PMS company blog. But I"m sure you'll love the rollerskating fairy, named Tina, best!

123...

What a great number!  The Corrosive Challenges by Janet blog is on challenge #123.

Link up your red and white creation to the challenge blog! I added a touch of gold to each flower center using a sakura gold pen.  Don't you love that darling ladybug charm!  You can add a lot of these darling charms to your paper order at Mark's Finest Papers.  (Hey, the ribbon, paper and cording is also found at MFP.)

Something to Crow About!!

That's right!! Mark's Finest Papers has started their sneak peeks for the July release!

While I was designing this card, my 10 year old daughter noticed the cartoony style of this MFP stamp set.  (She is a very observant girl!  Many of the other sets are very realistic/natural.)  I think this set is going to be very appealing to very many stampsers!

An announcement regarding PMS...

...is thrilled to announce their new design team.  A few designers are moving on, a few have moved up to become Senior Makeup Artists, and we have a few new faces that are getting inky with Paper Makeup!

Here is the official announcement...

And yes, I'm now a Senior Makeup Artist!  (I'm soooo excited!!)

Oh, and since it's FRIDAY...PMS is offering a free digi today on their company blog.  Katie chooses some great mottoes to digitize!  This one is perfect for me...b/c sometimes, I think my workload is full and I keep piling on more "jobs to do!" (Note it does not say "anything you can do, I can better!" haha)

Anywho...just remember to use the keywords "Paper Makeup Stamps" when you upload to an online gallery.  PMS is looking for some loyal customers to spotlight!  Did you happen to see Anessa's fairy card??
