Blog Group Challenges

Please scroll down to my first post of the day to see a sneak peek from the March Paper Makeup Stamps release!

Here's my altered notebook for Christy's Altered Notebook Challenge!

Details on ths snazzy Paper Temptress paper scraps I used!

I'm hoping the warm colors makes this cards a Summer Vintage card for Rebekka's challenge!  This is a new set from Mark's Finest Papers. Although in my opinion, it should be called "Great, great grandmother's Boudoir."  My grandmother wasn't so vintage!

Whew! I made it under the deadline.  Next month, it's my turn to hostess!

Looking for a rainbow...

This month...Paper Makeup is re-releasing some stamps that were previously only available in the Paper Makeup Kits!  This sentiment comes from Raindrops and Rainbows Addition set.

I used gorgeous Paper Temptress papers to create this funky rainbow.  Use db15 for 15% off your order!  Gotta love a deal!

And...how is this for the inside?
The Retro Black Glossy Lustre has a wavy texture in black on the front. But the inside is pure white...wiating for some of it's own decorations. Here I lined it with colorful Paper Temptress papers too.  Be sure to check out other sneak peeks today on the PMS blog!

Memo to all parents

It's never to early to teach your kids the ways of the world.

Today....
explain to them why they should never, Ever, EVER...sign a blank document.

Happy Birthday, Teenager!

How is this for a fabby card for a girl turning 13?

All papers used can be found on the Paper Temptress website.  The BASIS line is great for sturdy card bases.  The Corrugated Colors line adds so much texture and dimension to your paper crafting projects,.  I have found that glue dots are the best way to adhere them to your base. Only, line up carefully!  One it's stuck, it's going to be awefully hard to hard to unstick the layer.

I can't believe I have waited so long tom ake an easel card! This one, when finished, measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches.  Plenty of room on the inside to write a note to your favorite teen!

The Laser and Pearlseent papers add a bit of shimmer to the cellphone image.  I'm sooooo grateful to Melody for this Gina K,. set. I think it's going to come in VERY useful as my own kids continue to grow.  Thanks!!

Swing Time

I decided to try my hand at the Party Time Tuesday Challenge of making a swing card.  These are new images from Mark's Finest Papers called "African Violet."  That's a funny name since these images are very bold!

This panel swings away to a birthday greeting!
