A stylish new release
Yeppers...today is the day that you can start purchasing the July Paper Makeup Release! Start at the PMS blog. As you hop along, be sure to collect all the letters to the 15% off code. Remember, tonight is the Release Party in the PMS forum at 9pm EST.
This stylish new set is called "A Cut Above." As luck would have it, I got a smashing new hair cut yesterday from a new stylist. Now I think I'll send her this card! Monday, I was digging through a laundry baske tof "important papers to file away" and I came across an old hair style pix. Unfotunately, the salon was closed for the 4th of July holiday. But today, I made the call and 45 minutes later, I was choping off the locks!
Meanwhile, here's my letter for you. "Best for last" as I love to say!
(I couldn't get Ken or the kids to take a decent pix of me so I had to take one in the mirror myself.) Hope to see you at the release party tonight!!

Altered Paper
So, this last TUC challenge was to alter your patterned paper. While it was a great challenge idea, I think it was a challenge for me! I'm not even sure if I can say that this looks better in real life! haha.
But... I took a piece of paper with a flower on it...and stamped this lady bug from Mark's Finest Papers. And then I added stickles to the petals for some interest. The inside is also decorated.

A fawntastic release...
Aaaaaaaaaah....
Once again, Paper Makeup Stamps has a "fawntastic" release this month!
Isn't she sweet! And that's not not just b/c Fawn rhymes with Dawn! haha. (I got that awesome ribbon from Mark's Finest Papers. In real life, I could have bed sheets made out of that ribbon!) Be sure to click on over to the PMS blog to see more sneak peeks from now until the release on July 7th. As always, fun and games will be had in the PMS forums on July 7th at 8pm CST.
Bee Happy with Antidepresstamps
One of the newest lines from Starving Artistamps is Antidepresstamps. I just love the Gigglebear and the birds and bees.
I used Paper Temptress papers for this dawdling bear! And the hives were stamped on gold sparkle. You can see a lot of texture in real life!
You can't forget the inside!!

Regal and Proud
Faith said we could sneak peek this August Mark's Finest Paper's set extra early since it went soooo well with today's WT277 challenge of a patriotic card without red or blue.
I'm off to clean up lunch and help DS learn to ride the bike. I told him earlier today that he would be the only 2nd grader who didn't know how to ride a 2 wheeler and his friends would laugh at him. "How do you know?" came the question. "Well, I am already laughing!" I told him.
Oh, and before I forget, all the papers on this card came from Mark's Finest Papers. If you are sad to see Sage Shadow retiring, be sure to check out the MFP site. This color is a close but with some interesting mottling.
