I decided to keep it relatively simple to show-off the awesome sentiment from Friendship Blossoms. Highlighing some words adds interest as well. The stitching was simple. I left long tails of thread on each end of the sewing stitch and then taped them to the back of the panel to hide them.
This is one of my favorite cards to make. Okay, so I admit it, there are many "favorites." I cut 3/4 inch off of the right side and then punched a slit. The top layer of the card then slides into the slit. That semi-circle area is great for buttons, brads, ribbon...and this lovely embellishment that I recycled from a card someone sent me! (Thanks, Joyce!)
