One of those hard to photo cards...

But in real life, this is lovely as can be.  Perfect for that bookworm in your life. I used to read a lot as a teenager.  I think I need to get back to that these days.  The stamps come from the new Boudoir set from Starving Artistamps.  I used Paper Temptress' Neenah Ivory for the base of the card.  The simple green mat is Tartan Felt Grandee.  The fold is a book hinge...at least that is what I call this type of fold.  Only the top "cover" bends to open and reveal "pages" you can write a message on.  The deep burgundy velvet ribbon was used to look like a book mark.    And books are where we can dream the impossible, right?

What a great card! Love the pairing of that sentiment with the bookshelf. I have so many bookworms in my life that this card would be perfect for. :) Love your choice of fold and ribbon for these books too. :)

Yes, this IS because you are a seamstress in 2010...you always have been though! Do you accept? (And no fair sewing left-handed just to give me a fair shot!)
