Still counting down...

with Paper Makeup deals!  This week...35% off all stamp SETS.  Use the code SETS35 when ordering.   If you have a bunch of dinos, why not go for Dino Essentials

It will give you some background images, accessory images and rooooaringly great sentimets to mix and match with your dinos.   Another set I'd reccomend is Friendly Flowers.  Great sentiments with some sweet little flower accents in silhouette.

My favorite set is Nature's Song.  It is filled with bird images and peaceful sentiments  I love the solid bird images with that swirlie tree insert.  (Oh yeah, be sure to add the tree to your cart if you don't have it yet. How can anyone not have it?)

You can't go wrong with a Paper Makeup Stamp set.  They extend your single images and will brighten a friend's day when used on a card!

PMS sketch

I was going to post this card last Friday, as hinted on my Thursday entry. But PMS decided to push back the challenge due to the week of sneak peeks.

This monster holds a flag and a plastic bottle.  But I cut and trimmed and now have him holding 2 hearts!  ooh...even more loveable!

Puppet Making

Yesterday, when I got home from Brownies, I was told that Nate and his friend were looking for green pipe cleaners which my ds couldn't locate.  After a quick call, I found out that he was then looking for green fabric.  Long story short, I sewed up a puppet that Nate had designed for Theater Class.  An Alien!!

He is sure to get an A on thsi oen!  Don't you love those hypnotic spiral eyes!  Great sword too! Fashioned by Nate the Great!

Wordsearches are not educational

I think that teachers who assign  difficult wordsearches as homework or class work should reevaluate their teaching styles.  I am sure by now, they should realize that not all students excel at them.  And really, they are a waste of time.  For someone who has difficulties spelling words, the "near words" on the puzzle are confusing.  And really, that is not way to learn a spelling word.  The time it takes to do a large difficult puzzle...is a just taking time away from more productive endeavors.  Furthermore, giving a grade for a wordsearch. is also ridiculous.

This is my space. I can write what I want. If you don't agree with me, don't comment. haha
