We were at the pool on Thursday morning so I could do my swimming laps. And as I was swimming I splashed or kicked E* accidentally. I apologized and his response was, "That's okay Mom, I forgive you." In the sweetest of voices.

He is so good to tell me multiple times a day that he loves me. In fact, if he says my name and then forgets what he was going to say, out comes "I love you Mom."

I'm blessed with a thoughtful boy.

Gift Ensemble

I've been wanting to make a gift ensemble for a friend of mine. Paper Temptress has a type of paper called Plike Cardstock. It has a great texture and is plastic-like and durable...perfect for making a cover for a blank pad of paper.

We've been enjoying the sun and summer. So I used that inspiration, along with the CAS24 color combo, for this Sherrod Studio card.



I used icicle stickles in the sand...b/c it just makes a really neat sparkly texture for the sandy beach area. The images by Sherrod Studio are drawn so well, I like to keep the rest of my composition fairly simple so that the image doesn't get over crowded by the bling.

In a mad rush to go bike riding...this card used the Corrosive Challenge by Janet Layout along with the SCS color combo challenge....and Ken is not going to wait for me any longer!

Today's PMS challenge is to use the colors: brown and pink. It came in at a great time for me as I needed to put together a baby shower card for a new mom. And...she was having a girl! Get out those PMS stamps and see what you can do using this color combo. (If you don't have Paper Makeup Stamps...what are you waiting for? haha. Though Seriously, you can use other stamps too.
