Double challenge

Since the last couple of weeks have been pretty dry for me, yesterday I inked out a double challenge for the Thursday "Ways to use Text" and the Friday "Use a Foreign language" on your cards challenges. Whew...that was a long sentence! haha. I stamped this fairy a 2nd time and cut out her head and arms and froggie. Propped them up on dimensionals to give this card some depth.

Back to the Cards...

and one elegant blog challenge by Stamp Something Challenge blog. With Paper Makeup Stamps as this week's sponser, what can you do with black, white and a pop of color??



I used a sentiment from the PMS collection and the layout is from the Corrosive Blog Challenge this week. When stamping time is short, combining challenges can be fun! Since I used a ton of grey, I thought that the pink would make a nice PUNCH! Another short cut was to use a bunch of nesties to get the job done!

Totally Cleaning...

the house is dull and dreary and boring...especially when it is already mostly clean.

But, since today is the first day of vacation, in their own home, for my kids...They have deemed it "Electronics Day!" YEAH!

Just what is Electronics Day? A day of being plugged in...to the TV, to the Wii...whatever they want.



Needless to say, that means I have to do all the chores alone! haha. But it's pretty quiet with them plugged in.



So, I'm taking a few minutes to post my boring life...in lego diaramas (of sorts) to my blog. Can you believe that you can find almost anything done in Legos!?!

Buckle up with buckle cards....haha. I couldn't resist a red and blue color combo with this far out new stamp.



The rocket and moon are propped up on dimensionals. I stamped a few extra moons for the side embellishment. And of course, every starry card needs stickles!

PMSMC15...Color Time!!

Today's Color Challenge (PMSMC15) by PMS is to use:
a summery yellow
aqua blue
chocolate
white or vanilla





I like that that Jamie didn't give us SU colors for a change. Not sure why...I just did! haha.


I inked up the soccer bunny since I need a couple of soccer thank you cards for coaches this weekend. Our last game! Yeah!! Here is our team pix...Go Wild Cats!

A funny from a cousin

Right now I am at my Mom's house with the Kennedy cousins. We needed to get through some time waiting for dessert to be served so we had a joke telling contest. This one was from Sam...haha...



There were three robbers that robbed a bank. They ran past a castle and a wizard came out. He said, "I cast a spell on you. If you jump off this cliff, then you can turn into anything you want.



So the first guy went off the cliff and said, "Hawk!" And he turned into a hawk and flew away. Then the second robber said, "Eagle!" He turned into an eagle and flew away.

The third guy ran off the cliff and tripped on a rock and said, "Oh, crap!" and turned into a pile of poop.
