I so totally *need* this shirt! haha

It can be found and bought here. (Also available in PINK...maybe that's a better color for me.)

Ta Dah!!

Here are some cards using the newly released Doodlefactory set called "Valentine Remix" along with some "Valentine Sentiments" that can be bought on the Starving Artistamp website. I've had some questions about the rubber so I snapped a few pix so those interested parties can see how nice the images are. Each stamp image is pretty deep. I prefer to mount mine on EZmount and use acrylic blocks to stamp them.

A somber valentine for one whose love is far away. And the "blue without you" sentiment is from the Tropics sentiments.

I just love this one to peices! Hogs & Kisses to all of you!

Detail....S.M.A.K!
A dainty violet with a cheery smile!

Detail: This flower is made up of several layers for a 3D look in real life.

The Doodlefactory is busting out all over with Valentine images! (The Bee's valentine is from another new Doodlefactory set called "Sweets N Hearts." It's actually the lid from a candy box. You can use these images in so many ways!)

Now, who wouldn't want this adorable Beezley in their mailbox?

I bet you're hoping that you catch this bandit red handed in your Valentine Mail. Head over to Starving Artistamps and order some of their funtastic valentine stamps and sentiments!

They're HERE!

I stamped a 4 challenge card today and then decided to clean up the house. Really clean up. Like scour the bathrooms and vaccum the carpeting. Then all of the sudden it was time to meet the kids as they got off the bus. To my delight, I found the new Doodlefactory Valentine Stamps in my mail box! I'm so glad that I cleaned this afternoon AND had made a large pot of Taco Soup last night for dinner. We had enough left overs for dinner tonight. (Sorry C*.) And then I had more time to trim the rubber, mount them on EZmount and then cut the EZmounted rubber!

Admittedly, I had a few ideas in my head. And now I can't go to bed. B/c I had to walk back down stairs to check on the cards that I made. I made a change on one card. And then debated the heart brad or no heart brad on another one. (If I had a silver or gold or bronze heart brad, I think it would be a go. But I only have pink and red. Oh Michele!! Do you have a silver or gold heart brad? Size small? haha)

Admittedly, even though I had ideas in my head...card making wasn't very fast. I didn't know exactly what color blues to use. Or...what to do with these hearts...

haha. I know! "What is she talking about?"

You'll just have to stop back tomorrow and see the posted cards. (With or without the heart brad!)

Today I stamped a 4 challenge card:

Color: pumpkin, garden green orchid
Layout: self explanatory
Ways to Use it: Stars: I used star shaped flowers...I know it's a leap. But Julia used dots to symbolize a starry sky!
whimsychallenge3: Use flowers...assuming with their whimsical animals...or any other animal stamp you had.

Sadly, now the card reader and the mike port on my computer do not work. Wish I could convince Ken on the need of a new one! haha.

Predictions already coming true!

I stated in a previous blog post that 2009 looked like it would be one crafty year. And so it continues...

Saturday night, I was checking my email and Tracey, owner of Starving Artistamps, invited me to be a Featured Guest Designer for the new Doodlefactory Valentine sets that are being released this month. Yippee Skippee!

Boy...what an honor! I'm one eager beaver to promote such a personable stamp company that has such fun stamp lines. I recently noticed that they are carrying the new Whimsy stamps which I read about on SCS. They are pretty darling. Also, they sell a large selection of mosaic stamps which I have been wanting for a long time but I have budget restraints! But the DoodleFactory line has some of my favorite images. They are large, daffy and downright delightful for a whimsical stamper like myself!

Check back soon for projects and cards made with the new sets. The new rubber can't get here fast enough, in my opinion!

For Hank

I came across this funtastic Doodlefactory Card and it reminded me of Hank. The stamper who created is named Nina! She's from Sweden (I think).

Adding: Hank is really into bikes these day. So Hank, if you send me a pix of your bikes/working on bikes, I'll post it here too! (Or maybe Marissa can send me some pix.)

No mojo but a clearly cool card!

Today, I really struggled incorporating this background technique on a card. What started off as a black card base finally emerged to acetate. The images were changed from a castle to a polar bear to finally Mimo. And trust me, they were switched back and forth a few times too!

But Starving Artistamps had a challenge last month to design a clear card. I LOVE clear cards ever since my mom sent me my very first one! So...better late than never...I accomplished it with glitz galore!
