Cards for stamping friends...and SIL
Got a bunch of cards done yesterday. Probably b/c my stamping buddy Jenifer VanPelt sent images to me a while back and I had colored several in already. So when I went to design a card...it developed quickly. The colors and image were already picked! These are going out to some of my favorite stamping buddies...and one is for my SIL.
Sock Monkey and Sizzix Update...
We'll start off with my new preview set...Sock Monkey!

Yesterday...I opened up...THE CUTTLEBUG. And wow...is it fine! It even cut out those sizzlits that BROKE my Sizzix machine. I bought the cuttlebug and stuck it behind the couch. I thought I'd just buy it with Michael's 4th of July 50% off coupon. I'd wait and see...maybe returning the cuttlebug if I couldn't get the Sizzis to function properly.
Meanwhile, emails back and forth with Sizzix, them admitting it would break when using their own product, and then they paid to have me ship it back to them to "look at it."
So the green Cuttlebug sat for 2 weeks....And yesterday, I gave in and opened it up and played with it. TWENTY FOUR hours later...I get an email from Sizzix. Not only are they replacing my machine...they UPGRADED it to the Sizzix Big Kick...which is essentially the same type of machine as the Cuttlebug. What stinky luck is that?
Seriously, I had thought that *maybe* they'd replace the big old red machine...and **MAYBE** I'd get an upgrade. But after a while, I figured I was just making it all up. And lo and behold...I was right. Just not right about my timing! haha.
So..now the delimma begins. Do I sell the BigKick? Keep it? What?

Card Time
Today's color challenge combined with last Wednesday's sketch challenge. I thought that this was a totally cool layout. It's not my favorite color combo...but then again, I rarely like the combos picked.
Overheard talk...
As I was sitting up here, procrastinating the inevitable reorganization of the computer room, I heard my little E* say to his sister:
My name is PeanutButter and your name should be Jelly. And the we'd be Peanutbutter and Jelly. PeanutButter and Jelly.
Then M* replied:
Well, you should wear yellow today. Orange or yellow.
And they both scurried up the stairs to look for a new shirt for E. Hmmmmmmm...I wonder what color M* is wearing! haha
