As we sat down to eat dinner tonight, I asked the kids who wanted to say the prayer. C and E simulataneously called out "Me!" I looked at E who then said "Pick me. I'm cuter!" So E said the blessing over the food tonight.
Sorry C. If your brother is cuter, you are kinder.

Just because...
Woke up with a crick in my neck...ouch.
Took E to school.
Ran to Joann's to look for something for a swap. Meant to go to Target to find some Easter treats...but ran out of time.
Went back to school for the Easter Party.
Got home and crashed on the couch b/c my neck hurt so bad.
Now the kids are home and we are decorating and now cleaning. I know wrong order. But I'm glad for the help as I hobble around.
I told the kids that the Easter Bunny was not bringing any candy this year. He might just be breaking down. McK asked me (in private) if I could put their Valentine Candy, which I took away, in eggs after the Bunny had left. I said, I'm not the bunny. I'm not doing that!
Maybe the eggs will be filled with grapes and raisins, animals crackers (E would love that), fishie crackers...hmmmmmmm.
Do you know how long it takes to make a Peep? 6 minutes...though in 1957 (I think) it took 27 HOURS. Further more, one serving of Peeps is FIVE pieces. Amazingly gross. haha.
I discovered today that E can add numbers in his head. And quite well at that. I even asked him what 12+3 was...and he got it correct.
Okay, I better get going with the picking up/cleaning. Too bad my kids are a bit too young to mop stll.
