Now to my question. Back at the beginning of March, a friend gifted me a 6 month SCS fan club membership. I've asked 3 times, "Why does it only give me 5 months?' No one has answered. March 8-August 7 is only 5 months. It's pretty annoying if it's a case of false advertisement. Six months would push my membership into September. Yet today, I don't have instant upload status. I know, "Stop crabbing, Dawn." But hey, I'm just looking for an answer and a reason.

Today's sketch challenge card & a question
Here is my card for today's challenge which took too long but in the end, it turned out rather lovely.

Some cards
Sunday's challenge on SCS is Featured Stamper. I have never done any of these challenges. After looking at 88Key's gallery, I was truly inspired by a card. Here is my take on it:

In fact, today, I made 3 cards in this similar style. I'll post them to my gallery tomorrow so feel free to take a look and leave a comment!
Today I did Jen70's first challenge:

This is an older set that my upline gave me. I love it! I love the Chocolatechip with Guava too!
I even did today's TLC challenge of Paper Tole. I didn't have Roses In Winter which is a popular set to use. But I found that the solid flower stamp in Delight in Life can work too. For the top layer, I trimmed the tips of the flower so that it would be a gradation of sizes. Now that I have all the layers glued together, I really wish that I had put a background on the banana layer. But now that I am using Scotch tacky glue stuff...well, it's pretty much glued in place!

Funny stories if you have boys...
If you only have girls, you will probably be grossed out. Now, myself, I grew up with only girls. My brother was 9 years younger than me. So by the time he got old enough to be, well, a little boy, I was in college. So now I get to experience all things BOY with my own sons.
Friday night, C* slept over his buddy's house...for his first time sleeping over a friend's home. Saturday morning comes and he's sitting next time in the computer room. I thought it looked like his soccer shorts were ripped so I pulled them straight. There was a slit on the side that was twisted so they were not ripped. Well, DS pulls on his shorts in an exaggerated way...remember these are soccer shorts...and he exposes himself! I shrieked, "Where is your underwear!?!!" He said, "I'm going commando." I said, "You are NOT going commando. Go get some underwear on!!"
Later, I found out that he did not learn it from the Friday night friend, as I originally thought. My son "taught" it to those boys! So Commando Style...it has come around to our house and our neighborhood! haha. (No pix for obvious reasons.)
Last night, at dinner, DS#3 was trying to get some corn off the cob with his fork...and he let out this firecracker of a fart...that lasted probably 4 seconds. It just kept coming. Then...he chuckled and said, "My butt is mowing the lawn." Then we all cracked up! hehe.
So, as off color as these stories are, I hope you come back. And I hope my "G" blog rating isn't going to dip!
