I reallllly wanted to stamp today...and blog candy.

Today, I really wanted to stamp. And as luck would have it...no time to stamp. DH's bday is today and he wants carrot cake and faitjas. And probably in that order too.

Here is the one lone card I eeked out today...

I really liked the colors from last night's card...and I was going for a funky boho (bohemian) style. Not sure that I'm there quite yet...this is still pretty structured. So, I guess I better practice! haha.

Meanwhile, faithful readership, post your favorite style of card and you'll be entered to win a stamping supply blog prize! I promise it'll be something super! (Deadline Monday)

More photo corner punch ideas...

Here's a funky fun card I made last night while waiting for DH to come home from a friend's house. I think lavendar lace and pixie pink rock with Guava! What do you think?

To get the triangles lined up, I put a long piece of tape on the table, then lined the photo corners on top of it. Trimmed the edges and adhere it to your card front. Simple as pie! (But are pies that simple?)

Photo Corner Punch

My upline gave me the new photo corner punch to make some designs for her seminar. And well...I decided it needed to get more diversified. Voila...a tree! I'm sure that it will make a very lovely boarder too...but first things first.

I used Petals and Paisleys paper to give it some funkability...added a few ornaments and a star...and now I have a pretty upbeat Christmas Card idea. Though I'm not sure that I'd want to make 50 of these trees...or cut out 150 ornaments...or the stars. But for one card..I really like it.

Still stamping...though I can't show you quite yet...

Staming for my upline's annual demo seminar that is. But today's sketch challenge featured one of my favorite styled cards...A table tent card. When I attended college, there were always bunches and bunches of table top cards on the cafeteria and Res tables announcing plays, clubs, rushes, lectures... So making these cards always reminds me of Miami University.

In case you didn't catch my card on SCS, here it is.

There are guava stripes on the Basic Grey paper. Stickles on the butterfly too!

Last chapter of the book...

So...to all your CHEATERS out there who skipped to the end of the book and only read the last chapter...

Which, I haven't even read yet...

You missed the best chapters of all...Chapters 34 and 35.

I have to take a little breather before going on and reading the last chapter...and the epliogue...Whew!

So to J.K. Rowling...Thanks for tricking the cheaters!
